Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is located at the edge of the
Mogollon Rim in the tiny valley surrounded by a forest of pine
trees; you will experience the vanilla scent of the pines… The park features
Walking trails and viewpoints, Picnic tables and gift shop, Portable
restrooms. The trails in the park can be challenging but the views
they provide are unmatched. Three trails meet along Pine Creek under
the natural rock bridge. Tonto Natural Bridge is among the largest
natural travertine bridge in the world. The bridge stands 183 feet
high over a 400-foot long tunnel that measures 150 feet at its widest
point. The park offers adventurous hiking trails namely Pine Creek
Trail, Waterfall Trail and Gowan Loop Trail. Tonto Natural Bridge
State Park is 10 miles north of Payson on Highway 87.

Visit the largest
travertine bridge in North America at Arizona's newest state park.
(Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by springs.) There
are 4 viewpoints, trails down to the creek, picnic tables, hiking
and bird watching.
Entrance fee will be charged for small vehicles.
